This Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation of service requests made through HomeSafe (the “Platform”).
By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy in full.
HomeSafe is a technology marketplace only and does not provide emergency, security, or safety services directly.
All services are provided by independent third-party Service Providers, and cancellation terms may vary depending on the Service Provider, service type, location, and urgency.
If a user cancels a request before a Service Provider accepts or is dispatched, no service fee may be charged, unless otherwise stated.
If a user cancels after a Service Provider has accepted, been notified, dispatched, or has begun travel, the user acknowledges and agrees that:
Cancellation fees may apply
Any fees charged are non-refundable
Fees compensate Service Providers for availability, preparation, dispatch, and opportunity costs
For emergency, urgent, or priority service requests:
NO CANCELLATIONS ARE GUARANTEED
Fees may be charged immediately upon request
Cancellations may be non-refundable regardless of timing
This is due to the time-sensitive and resource-intensive nature of emergency readiness.
If a user:
Is unavailable,
Provides incorrect location or contact information, or
Fails to respond upon Service Provider arrival,
The request will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
If a Service Provider cancels:
HomeSafe may, at its discretion, attempt to connect the user with another Service Provider
We do not guarantee replacement services
HomeSafe is not liable for any delay, loss, damage, injury, or outcome resulting from such cancellation
Refunds, if any, are not guaranteed and may depend on the circumstances.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any request or account at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:
Suspected misuse or fraud
Safety or legal concerns
Technical errors
Compliance with law enforcement or legal obligations
HomeSafe shall not be liable for any resulting losses, damages, or costs.
All fees are non-refundable, except where explicitly required by applicable law.
Any refunds issued are:
At the sole discretion of HomeSafe
Not an admission of liability
Limited to the minimum amount required by law
Processing fees, third-party charges, and administrative costs are non-refundable.
Users agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting us.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
Immediate account suspension or termination
Recovery of associated fees
Legal action where permitted by law
By requesting services, you acknowledge that:
Cancellations may result in delays or lack of assistance
You assume all risks associated with cancellation or non-delivery of services
HomeSafe bears no responsibility for consequences arising from cancellations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeSafe shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
Cancellations by users or Service Providers
Missed, delayed, or incomplete services
Emergency outcomes following cancellation
If liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the minimum amount required by law, and in no event exceed fees paid for the canceled request.
We may update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
